The 15 Organization Products I Can’t Live Without

the-15-organization-products-i-can't-live-without

It’s that time of year – spring cleaning is upon us!  Last week we talked about 3 practical steps to decluttering your home.  Once you have tackled that step (bravo!) you might need help with ideas for organizing all the necessary items you kept after your purging quest.  I have compiled a list of my absolute favorite organization products that I cannot live without.  This is not a sales pitch – I use every single one of these products!

THE 15 ORGANIZATION PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT – BATHROOM

When organizing in any room, try to select good-looking organization products when possible.  For example, the set of glass canisters below are beautiful enough to be left out on your bathroom counter.  I use my set of 3 to hold cotton swabs, q-tips, and epsom salts.  They look so pretty!

The tiered mirror tray is also gorgeous – I use mine for displaying my collection of perfume bottles.

And you might be wondering why I’m showing you a wall mounted spice rack for the bathroom – right?  I use this chic acrylic one and mounted it on the inside of my bathroom cabinet door.  It is the perfect size for holding nail polishes!  Clever, right?  The acrylic is easy to clean, and everything is easy to see.

THE 15 ORGANIZATION PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT – KITCHEN

In the kitchen, focus on organization products that fit with the design style of your space.  I love this sleek and textured canister for utensils by the stove.

The entire white canister set is great looking and works in a variety of kitchen styles – from modern to traditional!  They are chic accessories that serve double duty as great storage items.

The pull-out cookie sheet organizer is an amazing space-saving solution.  In our house, we use it to store cookie sheets, cookie racks, cutting boards, and shallow baking pans.  You will be amazed with how many items it can hold!

We all know that a lazy Susan is great inside small cabinets to help see your items, but consider a beautiful marble one to leave out on the counter.  I use this one beside the stove for olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic, and hot sauce – our cooking staples.  🙂

It’s super smart to store and reuse plastic grocery sacks – but they take up so much space!  We hung this wall-mounted storage device inside the pantry door – it shrinks down the plastic bags, and makes it easy to pull out one at a time.

THE 15 ORGANIZATION PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT – BEDROOM

For your bedroom, a beautiful woven laundry hamper like this one (with wheels!) takes the frustrating edge off of doing the dreaded laundry.

An over-the-door laundry organizer holds your iron, ironing board, and other products – neatly out of sight.

And finally, the cellular drawer partition.  This item looks odd, but it works so well!  It adjusts to fit within your drawer size, and creates small compartments for organizing underwear, socks, scarves, and more!  This is one of my favorite organization products on the entire list.

THE 15 ORGANIZATION PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT – OFFICE

The home office is a space that can quickly become chaotic if you don’t stay on top of it!

The first item is for holding pesky computer or electronic charger cords.  They stick firmly on the back of a desk or nightstand, and hold your cord and keep it from slipping underneath the furniture.  The cords stay hidden!  It’s the little things, guys.  🙂

A three-tiered letter tray is my trick for keeping all paper items organized at home.  The top tray is for “to do” items, the middle tray is for “to file away” items, and the bottom tray is for more long term stuff that I need to keep handy.  I try to keep every single piece of paper in my home in this organizer – and the system works!

And finally, a pretty textured pencil cup adds charm to your desktop – this one’s a no-brainer.

That completes the roundup of the 15 organization products I can’t live without!  Do you have any favorites that I didn’t include here?  I’d love to know about them – leave me a comment below.  Happy Spring Cleaning!
