Is Your Guest Space Holiday Hosting Ready?

Tis the season for giving, celebrating, and hosting! Before those visitors come knocking, check out some helpful Guest Bedroom design tips and ideas to make sure your visitors feel right at home this holiday season!

Make your guests feel like a priority, not an afterthought.

It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of the holidays. From channeling our inner Clark Griswold decorating; to checking off a shopping list that would put Santa’s Nice List to shame; and if you’ve watch Home Alone a time or two, you know how something can accidentally be left unchecked. Your guest space should not be one of them! No matter the accommodations, you want your guests to feel welcomed and comfortable! Simple finishing touches such as plentiful clean lines, a place to store suitcases, festive toiletries, and even a charging station can help ensure your family and friends achieve full comfort during their staying this holiday.

Add a full length mirror

During their stay, your house guests will be living out of a suitcase. Adding a full-length mirror to your Guest Bedroom is a simple hospitable gesture, giving your guests somewhere to evaluate their outfits. A mirror will also make a small guest bedroom feel larger.

Pull up a seat!

Give your guest bedroom a seating area so your guests have somewhere private to unwind that isn’t just the bed. If you’re limited on space this can be as simple as a bench at the end of the bed, or a corner chair!
